MOBA News!

Thank you so much for visiting our brand new site! I am the Executive Vice President of the Metro Omaha Builders Association (MOBA.) Our association has 740 member firms, 180 of them being builders, and the rest is comprised of companies that represent all facets of the building industry.

Whether you are building, buying, remodeling or refinancing your home, I would like to encourage you to look to MOBA as a resource. A full list of our members is available on our web site, www.moba.com. The Marketplace, located in each of our four publications, is also another great resource to have on hand. It lists MOBA members by what category their business is in. You will find a copy of The Marketplace in the Remodel Omaha Magazine or Spring Distinctive Homes Magazine. You may request a copy of this magazine by emailing, lisa@moba.com, or at the Remodel Omaha Tour, April 28-29 or Spring Parade of Homes in May.

The Remodel Omaha Tour is April 28-29 and features nine beautifully remodeled homes across the Omaha area. You will find a map and addresses to the homes at www.moba.com. Homes are open from noon-5pm each day. Tickets are $8 and available at each home on the tour.

The Spring Parade of Homes is May 13-20 and features 122 of the newest floor plans built by Omaha’s highest quality builders. A map and listing of all the homes will be available on www.moba.com after May 1^st. Homes are open noon-6pm weekends and 5-8pm weekdays. The Spring Parade of Homes is sponsored by the Metropolitan Utilities District.

The Omaha Home & Builders Show is March 22-25 at the Qwest Center and is the only Home Show in the region to incorporate both Builders and Remodelors. We are featuring national displays and vendors. Tour of Air Force One and the Oval Office and have yoru picture taken in the plane! Meet the JunkMarket Girls from HGTV, who can take anyone’s junk and turn it into a “treasure!” Enjoy our landscaping competition which will be held on Thursday, March 22. See over 100 landscape displays, which are sure to generate ideas for turning your open green space into an oasis.
